Simon Roberts captures the British's attitude through his images as well as showing that landscapes don't just have to be photos of the countryside.

I gained inspiration from this by producing my own pictures of unlikely landscapes.

I aim to get pictures similar to the once above.

This image is plain and boring. As well as from an odd angle, if I redo this shoot I would get the whole building in the shot.
The image isn't straight. On a second shoot I would use a tripod. The lighting is also to bright.
AO3: Record ideas, observations and insights relevant to intentions, reflecting critically on work and progress.

I thing this image represents yin and yang as the sand and sky are very different but complement each other. Much like complementary colours. Although it wasn't taken on a my cannon camera but on my iPhone it still looks good and shows that a posh camera isn't always necessary to take a good photo. However I will make the image brighter making it look as if it's on a hot foreign countries beach.
This image of a office shows that the town isn't just for shopping but work to. It is inspired by Simon Roberts as it's not a tradition landscape.
This image was taken on top of a car park it is similar to Simon Roberts' work as it finds the beauty in the places you least expect it. The sky looks like the sea which is beautiful. I think this image will look better if the colours are made brighter.
This photo is a more conventional landscape photo as its focus is nature. However it has a building unlike tradition landscapes which don't tend to have anything man made. This image was taken on my way home I don't normally thing about taking photos when I walk home but I'm happy I stopped in this case.

The six images of the beach were taken on my iPhone 6S the overs using my cannon camera. This is because I was on a trip and unable to take my camera. The over image were done on a canon camera F:16, ISO 200 and shutter speed 1/160.

To improve my images I decided to import some of them into photoshop and use it to adjust the saturation to make it brighter and happier.
The screen grab selected shows how Photoshop was used to create a high saturation. To do use this, I used the hue/saturation/lightness tool adjusting the colour sliders to get the desired hard contrast effect.
The artist research helped me realise that not all landscapes have to be in the country side. I focused on the town as it isn't normally the first thing you think of when you hear the word landscape.
I believe that I have produced some decent images. I also tried to experiment with the images of the buildings which didn't go well. If I were to do a reshoot I would take photos of streets. The final images produced were refined by developing the contrast.
AO4: Present a personal and meaningful response that realises intentions and, where appropriate, makes connections between visual and other elements.
I believe most of the images turned out well and inspired by Simon Robberts. The final images were adjusted with both the saturation and lightness.

PLEASE NOTE YOU HAVE SOME REALLY STRONG WORK HERE IT NEEDS TO BE DEVELOPED FURTHER (EDITED) TO GAIN A HIGHER GRADE, whilst you are producing some good images there is a need for you to edit them further to a higher level, AO! the amount of research on your selected photographer is lacking. AO2, some of your images appear quite dark, unedited. The amount of annotation in your blog post is a little too brief, i.e. there is no real depth of critical reflection, what camera settings were used, how might your work be improved? AO2 and AO3. edit a selection of best images needs to be expanded and you will need to comment on the connotations associated with the images you have produced (AO3) onto effect of the ambient conditions (sun) on your images.... To gain a higher grade you should be trying to edit you images to reduce the contrast caused by the sun....
